A PORT woman facing 22 indictment charges of targeting vulnerable people in an alleged thieving spree in Inverclyde and Largs is to stand trial before a sheriff and jury.
Cheri Steele, 31, is accused of stealing from residents at sheltered housing complexes during a period of time spanning three months last year.
Steele, of Arran Avenue, appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court to plead not guilty through lawyer Edward Sweeney to the allegations.
Her trial is due to start in October.
