A FABULOUS family fun day is being held at Lyle Gateway in Union Street on Saturday from 11am-4pm
The event in the church, its hall and community garden, is the group's first major get-together since lockdown and will feature live music, kids' activities and New Scots cookery demonstration plus craft workshops.
It is a joint event held by Lyle Gateway and Your Voice as part of the ongoing local Meliora Festival.
Jimmy Crawford, Gateway chair, said: "There is something for everyone and all the food and drink is free.
"It will be wonderful to see everyone in person again and this event is for everyone in the community.
"There will be 18 stalls and some Syrian ladies will be doing a cookery demonstration.
"We will have music from The Wherries and Clydeside Singers, there will be Boogie Bugs and face painting for the wee ones and crafts workshops from Your Voice."
A 24-strong team of volunteers, including from Your Voice, will be on hand to help.
Reverend Jonathan Fleming, minister of Lyle Kirk, said: "It's a great opportunity to showcase the various talents within Lyle Gateway and to highlight that church is not just a Sunday morning."
