A GREENOCK town centre social club is helping a charity to send children away on holiday breaks this summer.
The Regent Club has donated a total of £600 to Children in Poverty Inverclyde.
The committee has collected thousands of pounds for the charity since it was set up and the most recent donation includes £100 from a talented member's sale of home-made tablet.
Charity chairman Pat Burke said: "The Regent Club have been hugely pivotal in so many local children's lives being enhanced with holidays, pantomime trips and Christmas gifts."
