INVERCLYDE Police have issued a warning to locals to stay safe if they are around the water this summer.
As part of the Royal Lifesaving Society's Drowning Prevention week, people are being urged to take care if they are visiting places such as the waterfront, Lunderston Bay or the likes of Loch Thom on summer days out.
