THE area's MSP is today urging women in Inverclyde to ensure that they attend potentially life-saving cervical cancer screening appointments.
Stuart McMillan is encouraging patients whose tests are 'overdue' to book in for an appointment.
The SNP man is backing the ongoing Cervical Screening Awareness Week, which runs up until June 26.
Those eligible should receive a letter inviting them along for a screening, and appointments can be booked by contacting GPs.
