ALMOST 100 complaints were made against police in Inverclyde over a 12 month period.
Latest figures show that there were 95 raised regarding conduct of local officers between April 2021 and March 2022, a fall of 33.6 per cent from the previous year's figure.
The bulk of the complaints related to on duty matters, with the three most common being irregularity in procedure, incivility and excessive force.
No off duty allegations were made against any officers and the remaining complaints pertained to overall quality of service.
