ACCIDENT and emergency waiting times improved at Inverclyde Royal in the latest recorded week.
The percentage of people seen within four hours of arrival at the hospital between June 13-19 was 82.8 per cent, up from the previous week's figure of 80.8 per cent.
The figure was substantially better than the Scottish average, which stood at 68.1 per cent and the one for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, which was 66.9 per cent.
