A WOMAN has been charged with brandishing a knife and making threats of violence within Greenock's homelessness unit.
Roseanne Edwards, 39, has been barred by a sheriff from the Inverclyde Centre following the alleged incident on Sunday.
Edwards — who is also accused of shouting and swearing — appeared from custody at the sheriff court and pleaded not guilty through lawyer Aidan Gallagher.
She was allowed bail to an address elsewhere in the town on condition that she does not return to the centre and stays away from a named man and another woman.
The case is due to call again on September 27, ahead of a trial scheduled for October 24.
