AN amateur football side in Port Glasgow has folded after six successful seasons.
Port Glasgow United, which made up of players mainly from Park Farm, enjoyed a cup win, league title challenges, play-offs and memorable derby victories.
But last season they struggled to get players and have now been forced to call it a day.
Organiser Kevin Grady said: "It is a shame but we really had no choice, it was getting more and more difficult to field a team."
