THE world premiere of a stage play based on the sequel to Irvine Welsh's Trainspotting drew a sell-out audience in Greenock.
Local writer and producer David Carswell unveiled his new play, Porno, on his home patch at the Beacon Arts Centre, before beginning its big run at the Edinburgh Fringe yesterday.
It attracted a full house and rave reviews.
The cast features several talented local actors, who were given a warm reception at the premiere and are now impressing festival audiences in the capital.
