Broken down truck on A8, Greenock.
A BROKEN down lorry caused disruption on the main road into Greenock.
The HGV blocked the inside lane of the westbound carriageway on the A8 all day on Tuesday.
The lorry broke down early in the morning and was not removed by a recovery team until around 4pm, with the blocked lane causing traffic tailbacks throughout the day.
