A GREENOCK man charged with assaulting his partner to injury has had his sheriff court trial postponed because details of his police interview were not available.
Ian Fyfe, 38, is accused of lunging at the woman, repeatedly seizing her neck, lifting her from the floor and pinning her against walls.
Prosecutors say he thereafter threw the alleged victim to the floor at his flat on King Street on May 1.
In making a motion to adjourn matters, defence lawyer Paul Keenan said: "We are not in receipt of his police interview."
The trial is now scheduled to take place on September 6.
