TWO Greenock men charged with challenging each other to fight have had their sheriff court trial postponed.
Connor Brown, 26, and Colin McIver, 22, had been due to have their case heard on Monday but it has been delayed for a number of procedural reasons.
The pair are accused of shouting, swearing and making threats of violence towards each other at Wellpark Buildings, Regent Street, in July last year.
McIver is said to have been on three bail orders at the time.
Brown, of Wellpark Buildings, and McIver, of Belville Street, had their pleas of not guilty maintained by lawyers Aidan Gallagher and Paul Keenan.
The trial is now due to take place on September 21.
