Canary Saga
Abbey Vets in Greenock turned to the Tele in a bid to find the owner of a canary found on Greenock's Sir Michael Street. Although looking a bit nervous, the little bird is in good health and is, no doubt, keen to be claimed by its owner.
Local Protest
I took this picture of Dunvegan Avenue residents who turned out to block the removal of a tree on a piece of land earmarked for development. Sadly, the tree was later felled by experts as protesters looked on.
Granny Kempock
The famous Granny Kempock Stone in Gourock has had a much-needed makeover with the removal of weeds and debris that surrounded her. Former town councillor Jim Hunter came out to inspect the work and give it is seal of approval.
Car Wreck
This is all that remained of a BMW after it was set on fire and abandoned on Greenock street. The burnt-out wreck was discovered on Cartsburn Street in the early hours of Sunday.
