AN Inverclyde animal rescue has thanked a charity founded by a late Euromillions winner.

Underheugh Ark replaced some of its poultry sheds with help from the Colin Weir Charitable Foundation.

The organisation provides grants to Scottish-based community groups and small charities.

A spokesperson for the Ark said: "Our sheds are over 10 years old and have done well but they wouldn't have lasted another winter.

"The Foundation contacted us and we are truly humbled by the support that we have been given."
