GREENOCK POLICE STATION
DETECTIVES have launched an investigation after firestarters torched a car on a Greenock street.
A vehicle parked on Heron Road was left burned out in the attack, which took place at around 10.30pm on Tuesday.
Greenock police confirmed that the vehicle was wilfully set on fire and are now hunting the suspects.
They are described as two young males who were wearing dark clothing.
Officers are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage, or who knows anything about the attack, to get in touch.
