ALMOST fifty trees will be cut down in Gourock.
A total of 48 ash trees located between Glen Avenue and Duthie Avenue are for the chop.
The pre-emptive work comes after a recent council warning about an outbreak of ash dieback, a fungal disease which affects ash trees.
