YOUNG people from a Greenock secondary school won company of the year in a Young Enterprise competition.
Megan Graham, Ellie Davidson, Kennedy Bolton, Eilidh Yarr, Andrew McFarlane, Erin McLean and Kim McCallum from last year's S6 at Inverclyde Academy claimed the prize by setting up their own company called Wicket Wicks, selling candles and wax melts.
Proud business teacher Megan McLoughlin said: "The pupils have now left school to enter employment and further study, however will be returning to school this month September for our awards night to receive their certificates.
"The new cohort of S6 pupils will soon be invited to sign up to participate in the Young Enterprise programme for 2022-23 and we are excited to see what entrepreneurial ideas they come up with this year."
