A GOUROCK man has been charged with 'menacing' his neighbour during an alleged six-day campaign of intimidation.
Stephen McKee — who was made subject to an antisocial behaviour order in 2004 — is accused of aggressive behaviour, repeatedly shouting, swearing, and uttering threats and insults.
Prosecutors say he placed another man in a state of fear, alarm and distress at Tower Drive and elsewhere between March 25 and 30 in 2020.
McKee moved to Regent Street in Greenock after being barred from Tower Drive as part of his bail conditions. He pleaded guilty through lawyer Aidan Gallagher on Tuesday to breaching that stipulation.
McKee is due to stand trial at the sheriff court on the threatening and abusive behaviour charge next January.
