A FLOOD alert has been issued for Inverclyde today.
SEPA Floodline announced that heavy rain is expected to affect the local area this morning and into the early afternoon.
The alert means locals should be mindful of flooding impacts such as surface water, disruption to travel and localised flooding of properties.
Disruption to infrastructure, and flooding of parts of communities is possible from small watercourses.
A spokesperson said: "Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.
"Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188."
