A TREE which is said to be causing a nearby sewer to overflow could be cut down if council planners give the green light.
An application to fell the Scots pine, which is located on Glenmosston Road in Kilmacolm, has been submitted by a local homeowner.
Documents submitted as part of the application state that the tree is interfering with a sewer pipe and suggest that it should be removed in the interests of safety.
