A TRIO of Inverclyde community groups will receive a share of £30,000 this month thanks to the generosity of Co-op shoppers.
Money raised when Co-op members buy own-branded profits from stores is channelled into the supermarket's local community fund.
This month, Broomhill Gardens and Community Hub, RIG Arts and Children in Poverty Inverclyde will all receive funding through the scheme.
The team at Broomhill will use the cash boost to run practical growing and gardening classes, with a focus on the environmental impact of food.
RIG Arts will support children's mental health and wellbeing through regular creative activities, and Children in Poverty Inverclyde will use their share to bring festive fun to local kids at Christmas.
