The new Co-op store in Aberdour was supposed to open a year ago.
THE Co-op is raising vital funds for charities and organisations helping in the community.
Six groups are to benefit from the store's local community fund.
From the store in Kilmacolm down to the one in Wemyss Bay, members can help put cash in the pockets of local causes each time they shop.
The charities in line to benefit in Greenock and Wemyss Bay are the 5th Greenock and District Scouts, Children in Poverty Inverclyde and Starter Packs Inverclyde.
In Kilmacolm and Port Glasgow it is the scouts in Kilmacolm, Inverclyde Shed and the Lighthouse Group.
