Riverside Youth Band
TALENTED young Inverclyde musicians have been praised in the Scottish Parliament.
Stuart McMillan MSP commended Riverside Youth Band for reaching its 10th anniversary and noted the achievements of the young people involved.
Mr McMillan highlighted the band's anniversary concert at Port Glasgow Community Campus, under the baton of musical director Mark Good and his wife Laura, which included the premiere of a new piece for the band which was composed by Alan Fernie.
The local MSP also noted that membership of the band grew during the pandemic, and wished members success in the future.
