THREE homeless people in Inverclyde died last year according to latest statistics.
Figures from National Records of Scotland show that the number of people without a permanent roof over their head who are estimated to have passed away in 2021 was three, a fall from the previous year's total of seven.
The drop means that Inverclyde's estimated death rate per million of population more than halved, but still remains higher than it was pre-pandemic.
