AN Inverclyde man is celebrating his success in a sporting tournament run by a lifesaving support organisation.
James Coyle scooped Turning Point Scotland's monthly pool trophy in the recent contest - and is also the current holder of the coveted annual pool trophy.
The organisation says the monthly pool competitions, held at the Bullseye Sports Bar in Brougham Street, are well attended and fantastic social events.
Competitors battle it out every month and their points accumulate, and the player with most points takes the annual trophy.
James said he was thrilled to win the first competition of the year and said he's going to contest the annual honour.
He added: "I'm well chuffed to be the current winner of both pool trophies and plan to hold onto the annual trophy this year."
Turning Point Scotland works with adults who are experiencing a range of support needs.
