THE Royal Navy's largest vessel returned to the Firth of Clyde at the weekend.
Aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth visited on Sunday morning as she sailed gracefully towards Loch Long.
The colossal 65,000 tonne vessel has only been back to the Clyde a handful of times since her launch in July 2014.
In March last year she returned to Loch Long as part of a routine logistics visit, having also been on the Clyde in 2021 to be loaded with ammunition ahead of her deployment with the Carrier Strike Group.
