Loud Poets
A NATIONAL poetry slam kicks off at the Beacon this Saturday.
Local performers are taking part in the first Loud Poets live season west heat at 7.30pm.
They will be sharing the stage with the likes of poet Bohdan Piasecki and others aiming to qualify for the Grand Final at the Edinburgh International Book Festival this August.
The initiative is funded by Creative Scotland the National Lottery and tickets for the slam are on sale.
