YOUNG bookworms from Kilmacolm enjoyed a visit from an acclaimed author.
Junior school pupils at St Columba's were visited by local writer Lindsay Littleson.
As well as speaking to the children about her recent book The Rewilders, Lindsay gave youngsters a sneak peek of her next novel, which will be released in April.
A spokesperson for the school said: "We were delighted to welcome Lindsay back to St Columba's and the pupils were very excited to ask her to autograph their books.
"Our thanks goes The Ginger Cat children's bookshop for arranging this brilliant event."
