A SEVENTEEN-year-old has been charged with repeatedly supplying class A drugs to an undercover police officer in Greenock.
The youth — who cannot be identified for legal reasons — is said to have committed six alleged offences.
Prosecutors say he handed over heroin and cocaine to the officer outside a common close at 71 Nicolson Street on December 29 last year.
The teenager is further accused of supplying the drugs to him outside 14 Murdieston Street on January 4 and 5.
He made no plea through lawyer Aidan Gallagher during a petition hearing in private at the sheriff court and was allowed bail.
Matters have been continued for further examination, with a date for the next calling of the case to be confirmed.
