INVERCLYDE MSP Stuart McMillan has congratulated Humza Yousaf on being elected as the new leader of the SNP - and says he will be inviting the new First Minister to visit the area.
Mr McMillan said: “The leadership contest has rightly has been robust, but now it’s time to come together to build upon the strong foundations laid by Nicola Sturgeon and John Swinney.
“This is an opportunity for the SNP to refocus on independence and work together, as a team, to deliver a better Scotland."
