POLICE have said they have serious concerns for the welfare of a teenager who has been missing for over two weeks.

Officers have today launched a fresh appeal for information about the whereabouts of 17-year-old Jade Murray, who was reported missing from Paisley on April 5 and is known to frequent Inverclyde.

Jade was last seen around 1.20 pm on Love Street in Paisley and is described as white, 5ft 3 inches tall, slim build, with long brown hair.

Jade was last spotted wearing Black Padded Gilet, a blue long-sleeved top, black leggings, a pink snakeskin bag, and white Nike Airforce trainers.

In a statement posted on Facebook, Police Scotland Renfrewshire & Inverclyde said: "Jade has now been missing for over two weeks, and we have serious concerns for her welfare.

"We would ask anyone who may have seen Jade or has any information about her whereabouts to contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 1856 of Wednesday 5th April 2023."
