ESTABLISHED in 1835, the Kilmacolm & Port Glasgow Agricultural Show is one of Inverclyde's premier events that features a host of displays and competition entries from across the farming and sporting world.
With a rich and diverse programme of classes covering all aspects of country life, the event attracts thousands of visitors every year. Here are five of the many pictures taken during shows of the past.
Pic1: Blue skies and sunshine greeted droves of visitors to The Knapps for the Kilmacolm and Port Glasgow Show of 2010. With a wide and varied programme, the day was a fantastic success.
Pic2: These youngsters proudly posed up for the Tele camera with their prizewinning pets that won each of them a coveted rosette back in 2011.
Pic3: Kids and grown-ups alike got a chance to test their head for heights on a climbing wall brought to the show in 2008.
Pic4: In addition to the many land based activities on offer at the show of 2005, impressive model boats were put on display in the nearby Knapps Loch.
Pic5: The Kilmacolm and Port Glasgow Show provided many charities with the chance to bring in much-need funds. This shot features fundraisers for Ardgowan Hospice with goodies up for grabs at their stall.
Preparations for this year's show are well under way, with volunteers being sought and the finishing touches being put to the organisation, and the Tele will once again be capturing all the action on May 13.
