WORK is underway to restore electricity supply in large parts of the centre of Greenock this morning after a power cut across several postcodes.
Scottish Power was made aware of the cut at 10:17am and said there was no advance warning.
Postcodes in the PA15 and PA16 areas Greenock are affected, including:

Scottish Power’s control centre is attempting to restore the supply and is sending its next available engineers to the area to find and fix the fault.
The supplier expects power to be restored by 12:30pm today.
