THE Skelpies got the Coronation party in full swing at Youth Connections in Larkfield.
The 14-strong ukulele group, donned their union flag bowler hats and got everyone singing along at the breakfast buffet.
Guests tucked in to sandwiches and sausage rolls and a celebration cake.
Matt Collins said the group was formed four years ago by him and his son-in-law Claude McMutrie.
Matt said: "Claude bought a ukulele from an American musician.
"Being a guitarist he asked me to teach him to play it and then we invited different people to join and now there are 14 of us."
Band member Les Goff said: "We range from 60 to 86, we have clocked up 800 years between us."
The bash and a similar event at Gibshill Community Centre was funded by the National Lottery.
