VOLUNTEERS have been digging deep to ensure that a community garden in Gourock will be flourishing this summer.
Inverclyde Shed welcomed some newcomers to the Shore Street garden to help with planting salad bowl, pak choi and onions.
They also pitched in to harvest leeks for some local soup kitchens and turned the compost over.
Drop-ins take place at the garden every Monday from 10am-noon and on Wednesdays from 4-6pm.
