A PUPIL from a Kilmacolm school has taken a top prize at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

St Columba's School pupil Charlie competed as part of the winning Scottish team, as well as coming second in the individual event.

The horse show took place from May 11-14 at the Home Park.

The equestrian event has been held annually since 1943, and usually takes place over four or five days in May or June.

It features international showjumping, dressage, and carriage driving, as well as a range of ‘entertaining and tense’ competitions for spectators to enjoy.
