THE access and exit slip roads for Larkfield Road and Broomberry Drive at the channelised junction in Gourock are closed while a collapse in part of the road surface is fixed.
Motorists have been contending with a dangerous depression in the roadway at the junction over recent weeks.
The council says Scottish Water is carrying out 'repairs to consequential damage'.
The work is expected to be completed by this evening.
