AS we swing into summer and weekends of fetes and sunny fundraising events, this week we take a look back to some of the highlights of the popular Gourock Garden Party.
Usually held in June, the Garden Party has brought something for everyone to enjoy in the town's walled garden, the location for a family day out.

Pic2: Fundraising volunteers of Ardgowan Hospice donned what some might consider convincing pressure suits, for their space themed effort for the Gourock Gala Day of 2007.
Pic3: The popular fancy-dress part of the Gourock Garden Party saw this young Thunderbird picking up his inspiration he had dropped on-stage during his appearance in 2006.
Pic4: Thanks to super weather in the summer of 2013, record numbers of visitors made the journey to Gourock Park to enjoy the many attractions on offer.
