INVERCLYDE councillor Robert Moran is set to be appointed as the new convenor of an influential local health and social care board.
The long serving elected member is to be the next chair of the Inverclyde Integration Joint Board.
The board, which is made up of members appointed by both Inverclyde Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde health board, is responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of health and social care services in Inverclyde.
Fellow councillors Martin McCluskey, Elizabeth Robertson and Councillor Quinn have all been re-appointed to the board.
