MORTON will play local rivals St Mirren next month as the Renfrewshire Derby returns for the first time in three years.
The Greenock side confirmed the pre-season fixture over the weekend with the Buddies set to visit Cappielow Park on July 8.

We will round off our pre-season preparations with a Renfrewshire Derby at home.
It will be the Ton's first encounter with the Paisley team since a League Cup group stage loss on penalties in November 2020.
Morton's summer schedule is now complete with away friendlies against Alloa Athletic (Saturday July 1, 3pm) and Annan Athletic (Tuesday July 4, 7.45pm) already announced.
The upcoming derby against the Saints on July 8 will kick off at 3pm.
