AN Inverclyde band are teeing up to perform at one of the biggest events on the golfing calendar.
The Laurettes will provide entertainment at The Open at Royal Liverpool, which gets under way on Thursday.
Lauren O'Donoghue and Lynette Beaton said they are ‘delighted’ to be performing sets at the major tournament on Friday.
In a social media post, the pair added: “Thank you to Craig Weir for organising the programme and having us along.
“Our sets will be ‘above par’ and us Home ‘Birdies’ will provide our usual rootin’ tootin’ swing yer grannie abootin’ time.
“Any caddies looking for a shift to come carry our gear?”
