A GREENOCK woman is said to have shouted violent threats at retail workers after stealing booze from a superstore in the town.
It is alleged that Angela McLeish took alcohol from Tesco in Dalrymple Street on March 2 this year before returning the following day and snatching more drink.
The 44-year-old, of Belville Street, is further charged with threatening or abusive behaviour towards two male staff members.
Prosecutors say she shouted, swore, uttered threats of violence while in possession of a glass vase and acted in an aggressive manner.
Lawyer Amy Spencer confirmed not guilty pleas on her absent client's behalf.
A trial has been scheduled for January.
