FERRY passengers planning to travel on CalMac's Wemyss Bay-Rothesay route are being urged to prepare for high volumes of traffic this weekend.
Sailings are expected to be busier than usual on Saturday as visitors flock to Bute Highland Games.
CalMac has warned that passengers’ preferred sailings may not be available.
Passengers may also experience longer wait times.
In a social media post, the ferry operator said: “Vehicles should arrive in plenty of time and consider travelling via Colintraive-Rhubodach as an alternative.”
