ENTRIES for the 97th installment of the Inverclyde Music Festival are now open.

The competition, celebrating dance, speech, instrumental and vocal talents from the local area, will get under way in the new year with added classes for young people and adults.

The festival returned in January 2023 after a three-year pandemic-enforced hiatus, and earlier this summer a musical octopus was revealed as the new mascot for the annual event's 2024 edition.

Greenock Telegraph:

Greenock Town Hall will be the main venue for the festival, while the town's Baptist Church, Beacon Arts Centre and Inverclyde Academy will also host events.

Entries close on October 31; for more information visit inverclyde-music-festival.org.uk
