PARENTS are hitting the Esplanade to take part in a new buggy walk - then catching up for a cuppa at the finishing line.

Greenock Telegraph: Buggy walk

Walking group Inverclyde Bothy's new Greenock stroll has been massive hit and now friends from Lyle Gateway are opening their doors for tea afterwards with a new cafe at Lyle Kirk.

It is now hoped both projects can reach out to more people across Inverclyde.

Mum Gail Larkin, who comes along with her daughter Arabella, one, said: "It has been fantastic for me. My dad is involved in the Bothy and told me all about it.

"I am now a walk leader, it's great to get out in the fresh air and meet new people."
