PORT Glasgow Salvation Army is holding its Harvest Festival service next month.
Captain Ian Arthur says he is always very thankful for people's donations all year round.
People will be invited to come along to the service at 10.30am and bring some foodstuffs along with them.
There will also be a donation to the Church Angels Foodbank who operate from Port Glasgow United Reformed Church.
The charity is open Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and noon.
There is also a cafe where people can stop to chat over a cuppa.
All are welcome to come along to the service.
