CADDLEHILL Allotment plot holders put on a fantastic display as they showed off their annual crop of vegetables and flowers.
Set in the centre of Greenock the community garden is in huge demand with long waiting lists for one of the 36 plots.
The close-knit community of keen gardeners were keen to celebrate the fruits of their labour.
And the Caddlehill Annual Flower Show 2023 did not disappoint with all exhibits great and small, an exciting range of colours in full bloom and vegetables that truly looked just too good to eat.
Judge George Irvine was once again back in action giving his verdict on some of the best in the show and was on hand to offer some advice.
He said: "Allotments are in huge demand and there is so much that you can do in a small space.
"I think as well in the current climate where we are looking at ways to reduce air miles for food production. It makes sense to go back to growing as much of your own produce as you can.
"It is much better than getting everything from a supermarket where food is shipped half way around the world.
"The Caddlehill Annual Show is always really good with some great exhibits.
"This year we had onions, tomatoes and sweetcorn which were really good. It is great to have the shows back after the panedemic."
Judge George also congratulated the Caddlehill Allotments on the efforts of the committee, exhibitors and all the volunteers who served up tea, coffee and homemade cakes to visitors.
