ONE of the two ferries taking passengers between Inverclyde and Bute has been withdrawn from service today due to a 'technical issue'.
Operator CalMac said the MV Bute has a 'technical issue affecting the forward main engine' and further investigations into the problem are needed.
As a result, sister ship MV Argyle will run a single vessel timetable for the Wemyss Bay-Rothesay route on Tuesday.
