THE final cruise ship to visit Greenock this year has arrived at the ocean terminal.
Pacific World berthed early this morning in foggy conditions as she brings down the curtain on a busy 2023.
When the vessel was launched back in 1995 she was one of the largest cruise ships in the world at the time.
She is now operated by Peace World, a 1983-founded, Japan-based global non-government organisation which organises educational cruises.
The global voyages last around 100-days.
The 77,000-tonne ship can carry around 2,000 passengers and arrived via Reykjavík in Iceland.
Refurbished five years ago, the vessel has nine passenger decks, a four-storey atrium, several restaurants, a whole host of cafes, bars and lounges.
Her operators say she and offers a 'spacious, relaxing environment' for around-the-world journeys.
Pacific World is due to depart this evening.
